The annual MLB Futures Game will take place July 13 at 1 p.m. PDT on MLB Network.
The 2024 MLB Futures Game is a showcase for many of the game’s hottest prospects. The 2024 offering is no different and will include a number of Top 100 prospects across baseball. The 2024 event will also include a first ever Futures Skills Showcase that will feature eight players competing in a three round hitting contest.
The Futures Game will get underway at 1 p.m. PDT on Saturday, July 13 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. It will be carried live on MLB Network and streamed on MLB.tv, MLB.com and will also be available in the MLB App. The Skills Challenge will air on tape delay at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday, July 14 on MLB Network
The Oakland Athletics will be represented by right-handed prospect Luis Morales in the Futures Game. Morales has made 13 starts at High-A and has a 4.12 ERA and a 4.37 FIP in 43 2⁄3 innings. Morales is ranked as the second best prospect in the A’s organization by Baseball America.
