Good morning, baseball fans! And what a morning it is. The San Francisco Giants start their final series against the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
The Dodgers took first place on Wednesday, but the Giants used the power of a Dodgers off day to fuel them to break their losing streak and tie them, so these two teams will be facing off for sole possession of first place in the division.
So you know what time it is:

It would be nice for the Giants to gain some decisive ground against the Dodgers before taking on the hellmouth that is Coors Field (at which they still somehow have six games left to play).
Programming note: I will be at the game on Saturday, so Stephen will be doing the Saturday and Sunday recaps this week.
Also, Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors was hanging out in McCovey Cove yesterday rooting for Brandon Crawford (and the rest of the Giants) and I thought you should all see that.
