He’s good.
Hello and happy Tuesday.
On Monday, MLB announced that San Francisco Giants reliever Camilo Doval had been named the National League Reliever of the Month for September/October.

It’s a pretty remarkable achievement for the young righty, who made his MLB debut early in the season, was fairly awful, was optioned back to AAA Sacramento, and didn’t return to the roster until August, where he made one appearance, was optioned again, and returned in September.
And in that final month? Here’s Doval’s line in 15 games: 14.1 innings, 7 hits, 3 walks, 0 runs, 20 strikeouts.
He’s the real deal, and he just might be the closer as a 107-win team heads into the postseason.
