Sacramento has lost its last six meetings against Toronto.
The Sacramento Kings continue their seven-game homestand with a matchup against the Toronto Raptors. After dropping three games in a row, the Kings got back on track with a 128-124 win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
Things didn’t start well against Chicago, with point guard De’Aaron Fox suffered a hamstring injury just five minutes into the game and didn’t return. The good news was that Tyrese Haliburton was back in the lineup after missing back-to-back contests with a wrist injury.
Without Fox, the rookie played a season-high 35 minutes and put up 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Sacramento’s bench also stepped up with Fox, with four players combining for 50 points in the win over the Bulls.
The Raptors are struggling, losing three in a row and sit at 1-6 to start the season. Toronto is coming off a 123-115 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
The Kings haven’t fared well against the Raptors in recent history. The last time Sacramento beat Toronto was during the 2015-16 season.
