The Warriors should be getting their superstar back.
The Golden State Warriors got the best news they could have hoped for ahead of Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls: Steph Curry is likely to return.
Even though Curry had initially been ruled out against the Bulls, and set to be re-evaluated later in the week, his status was upgraded to questionable after he practiced over the weekend. Curry met with the media on Monday afternoon and said he felt ready, and coach Steve Kerr said before the game that “all signs point” towards Curry being able to return.

Curry hasn’t played since injuring his tailbone against the Houston Rockets on March 17. He’s missed five games since suffering the injury, with the Warriors winning just one of those five. Curry returns as the team tries to stop the bleeding and halt a four-game losing streak, which is tied for their longest of the year.
The two-time MVP has now missed seven games this season, with the Warriors going 1-6 when he’s absent (as opposed to 21-18 when he plays). He’s averaging 29.0 points per game this year — the second-highest mark of his career — while shooting 40.8% from distance, and dishing out 6.2 assists per contest.
