Another T’Wolves playoff game, another on-court protest. For the third time this postseason, a Minnesota Timberwolves game was delayed due to another fan interruption. And according to Warriors forward Draymond Green, something needs to happen about it.
Taking to Twitter, the four-time All-Star called for protesting fans to be prosecuted.
“They have to start prosecuting these people,” Green said. “Only a matter of time before someone hit them. Then the athlete gets sued.”

A few minutes into the third quarter, a woman ran out from the second row and attempted to get on the court. She didn’t get far, however, and security was able to rein her in before she could display any sort of protest.
Play stopped briefly, and the matter was taken care of pretty swiftly. As the woman was tackled by security within a few feet of the T’Wolves bench.

The protestor is reportedly a part of a group called Direct Action Everywhere, who have taken issue with Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor over alleged animal cruelty that’s taken place at Rembrandt Enterprises’ farms.
At this point, its clear that Minnesota team security is on high-alert for future protests. But, it may not stop the group from trying.
It’ll be something to monitor for as long as the T’Wolves playoff run continues.
