Whew.
Disaster averted. Draymond Green emerged from the locker room after halftime, and started the second half of the Golden State warriors game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Green appeared to suffer a right knee injury towards the end of the first half, when he hit the ground following a close out of a Kevin Durant shot. There wavs no contact on the play, but Green was seen laying down and holding his knee for a few minutes before getting up. He did walk to the locker room under his own power, but had a limp.
According to Rachel Nichols on the ABC broadcast, Green underwent a series of tests during halftime, and the training staff deemed him fine to go. He reportedly ran onto the court when he emerged from the locker room.
The Athletic’s Anthony Slater noted that Green has previously described having his knee “lock up” on him, and perhaps that’s what happened here.
