Shocking, I know.
And on Monday, he was awarded for it by being named the Western Conference’s Player of the Week.

I know, I know. I’m as shocked as you are that one of the best players in the world could put up a ridiculously efficient 62 points and then be named Player of the Week. Some things just don’t make sense!
The Warriors played three times in the week, going 2-1. Curry averaged 39.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists during that stretch, while shooting 52.9% from the field, 45.9% from distance, and 96.8% from the charity stripe. That is … uhh … good.
It’s the 15th time in his career that he’s been awarded Player of the Week, and the first since Dec. 10, 2018. According to a press release from the Warriors, that gives him three times as many as the next-closest Warrior: Tim Hardaway, who won the award five times.
It would seem that Steph Curry is good. I dunno, just a theory I’m testing.
