The second-year receiver responded to Ross Tucker’s comments during an interview with 95.7 The Game.

The rumors and hot takes about disgruntled Houston Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson aren’t going to stop until there is a resolution.

Watson isn’t happy with the Texans after the organization didn’t consult him prior to hiring Nick Caserio as the new general manager. Watson — who signed a four-year extension with Houston prior to the 2019 season — has reportedly requested a trade.

The San Francisco 49ers are one of the teams discussed as a potential landing spot for Watson, but it would cost the franchise a ton of capital.

Former NFL offensive lineman and current analyst Ross Tucker joined 95.7 The Game’s Steiny, Guru and Dibs for an interview and said the Niners should offer up stud defensive lineman Nick Bosa in a package for the 25-year-old quarterback.

“If you can get Deshaun Watson, I think Bosa’s even touchable. I’m sure they don’t want to do it, and I’m sure they’d even rather give up picks, but as great as Nick is, you get a chance to get a top-five quarterback in the NFL, you have to do it.”

49ers’ receiver Deebo Samuel responded to Tucker’s comments on his Instagram story:

Bosa hurt his knee in a Week 2 in the first quarter of the Week 2 win over the New York Jets. The Faithful felt a pit in their stomach when word came out that the second-year defensive lineman tore his ACL and missed the rest of the season.

The 23-year-old was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2019 after finishing with 47 tackles, 9 sacks and 25 QB hits. Pro Football Focus gave him a grade of 86.7 for his rookie season, the fourth-highest among rookie defenders since 2006.

Bosa’s absence was apparent this season. Defensive coordinator Robert Saleh dialed up a lot more blitzes with Bosa out, and the defensive line failed to muster much pressure when rushing four.

Fans also love Bosa. The reaction to him getting up after an injury scare during the 2019 playoff win over the Minnesota Vikings says it all.

Tucker adds that if he were general manager John Lynch, he would do everything he can not to include Bosa in a trade package for Watson, but ultimately if that’s what it took, he would pull the trigger.

Would you be willing to part with Bosa to land Watson?
