NFL fans are in for a treat this Saturday, as there are plenty of intriguing games on the current schedule. Several top picks will be in action later today, which means we could be in store for some overreactions.
It all starts with a showdown between the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins. Not only will we get our first look at Justin Fields, we’ll get to see how Tua Tagovailoa performs with a better supporting cast around him.
Fields won’t be the only rookie quarterback in action this Saturday. The Jacksonville Jaguars will square off with the Cleveland Browns at 7 p.m. ET. All eyes will be on Trevor Lawrence since he’s been crowned the best quarterback prospect of his generation.
Shortly after the Browns-Jaguars game begins, the Jets will take on the Giants in a battle for New York. The Jets already announced that Zach Wilson will play the entire first quarter.
But wait, there’s more. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance will also make his preseason debut tonight, as he’ll take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Lance isn’t expected to start Week 1 for the 49ers, but that could change depending on how the preseason plays out.
