The NFL draft is on the horizon and assuming every person on earth isn’t dead before the end of the week, the San Francisco 49ers will have an opportunity to set their franchise up for the future. While almost all the attention has gone to the third overall pick, where they will surely select a quarterback, the roster is far from solidified elsewhere. The Niners have nine picks this year, with six coming in rounds 4-7.
San Francisco only has six remaining roster spots on their 90-man roster, which would seem to make them a prime trade-up candidate throughout Days 2 and 3. Whether they move up, trade down, or stand pat though, what are the needs they have to cover before all is said and done?
