Rich Madrid joins Niner Nate to set the record straight
There are 45 days between the legal tampering period in NFL free agency and the first round of the NFL Draft. That’s over a thousand hours that places like ESPN, Fox, and yes, us here at Niners Nation have to fill with content to make sure you keep coming back when they aren’t playing actual games on the field. During that time, certain narratives begin to emerge that don’t always reflect the reality on the field the previous fall. On today’s Niners Nate-tion podcast, Nate Nelson caught up with our own Rich Madrid to try and debunk some of what you’ve been hearing.
Whether it’s [insert draft pundit here] saying everything they know is that Mac Jones will be the Niners’ pick, “Justin Fields is a one-read quarterback,” or, “Trey Lance is the perfect fit in San Francisco,” there have been no shortages of narratives this spring. If you’re like me and don’t get a chance to watch a lot of college football in the fall, it can be hard to separate fact from fiction when everyone associated with a team is lying through their teeth.
If you want some help figuring out what’s real and what’s bogus, take a listen to Rich Madrid on today’s Niner Nate-tion Podcast. The analysis is simple, authentic, and as anyone who is familiar with Rich knows, unfailingly honest. You can hear it below or wherever podcasts are served.
