ESPN names Georgia OL Jamaree Salyer as possible pick for Raiders at No. 86

In a recent article by ESPN and Football Outsiders, they put together a draft guide of all 32 teams. For the Raiders, they project that the offensive line is the biggest need for the team going into the draft. Here is a quick snippet of their thoughts on their offensive line need:

“The Raiders don’t select until the 86th overall pick after trading for Davante Adams. Immediate right tackle help might be out of the question by then, but some bulldozing guards who could slide outside to push/replace Leatherwood will still be on the board.”

One player that they mentioned as a possibility for the Raiders in the third round is Jamaree Salyer from Georgia. He has experience at both guard and tackle and was the team’s starting left tackle during the last two seasons for the Bulldogs.

However, many believe he will be a guard in the NFL. He’s got fantastic power and enough athleticism to mirror even the quickest defensive tackles. Will he be there at No. 86? That seems doubtful, but the fact that he is even being mentioned means that there is a chance.

Salyer, along with Darrian Kinnard (Kentucky) and Luke Goedeke (Central Michigan) are three offensive linemen to keep an eye on for the Raiders during the 2022 NFL Draft.
