Pass-rusher could be part of big changes in Houston
The NFL is watching how things unfold in Houston with the Texans and quarterback Deshaun Watson, who is reportedly unhappy.
There is already chatter he could want a trade. We’re not anywhere close to connecting Watson to the Raiders, although I wouldn’t be shocked if that connection is made by someone at some point.
For now, I’m more intrigued by the possibility of another Houston star, pass-rusher J.J. Watt, coming to the Raiders. It is already being talked about.

I’m not sure where I sit on the idea of the Raiders making a play for Watt, whether it’s in a trade or if he’s released. Watt, a 10-year veteran, only had five sacks in 2020 and he has dealt with a lot of injuries. He probably would be fairly pricey, too.
Yes. the Raiders need all the pass-rush they can get and he would be a nice leader for a young unit and it’s a total Jon Gruden move. But I’m not sure he would be the answer.
