The sports network ranks NFL teams over the course of the next three seasons
ESPN has done a large, complex project ranking all 32 NFL teams over the course of the next three seasons.
A committee of analysts rated each team’s quarterback room (20 percent of the formula), the rest of the roster (30 percent), recent draft history (15 percent), the front office (15 percent) and the coaching staff (20 percent) to conclude how the teams stack up for the next three seasons.
Bad news … the panel is not high on the Raiders for the next three years. They are ranked at No. 28 out of 32. Oh, and the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 1.
#Raiders rank 28th in this power ranking for the next 3 seasons ahead of only Bengals, Eagles, Lions and Texans https://t.co/bpWIILSHY3

My reaction to the Raiders being near the bottom of the NFL? A resounding “whatever.”
It’s difficult to figure out what is going to happen this season, nevertheless in 2023. The Raiders feel good about their program — if it doesn’t work, changes will be needed. If however, it does work — panels like this will not look very smart.
In other Raiders’ links:
- Strong accuracy: Derek Carr was the eighth most accurate quarterback in the NFL last year.
- Haynes honored: Former Raiders’ defensive back Mike Haynes is ranked as the 79th best NFL player ever by The Athletic.
- Is Johnathan Abram ready for the next step? Casey Hayward thinks so.
- Big game: Tickets are on sale for the December Pac-12 title game at Allegiant Stadium are available.
