Time for winning, eh?
The A’s are back at it on Saturday evening, ready to take on the Blue Jays for the middle game of the series on what is shaping up to be a beautiful warm summer evening in West Sacramento.
Tonight’s starting pitcher for the A’s will be Jacob Lopez. The left-hander will be hoping to put a nice bow on his first half, which has been largely successful as his first real taste of the major leagues.

The return of Wilson! The A’s prized shortstop is back in there tonight, assuaging all fears over his wrist. He’ll bat in his usually #2 spot tonight behind leadoff man Lawrence Butler. All the main players are in there for the middle game, with one notable exception. Second base will be manned by Max Muncy tonight, giving Zack Gelof an evening off as he continues to readjust to the major league lifestyle. Third base will be handled by Miguel Andujar.
Toronto’s starter Kevin Gausman is ready to roll. He brings a solid 4.13 ERA into tonight’s contest hoping to finish his half strong for his playoff-bound squad.
