Logan Webb vs. Taijuan Walker
The San Francisco Giants wrap up this road series against the Philadelphia Phillies this afternoon with their second national broadcast of the series.
Taking the mound for the Giants will be right-hander Logan Webb, who enters today’s game with a 2.98 ERA, 2.81 FIP, with 30 strikeouts to 10 walks in 42.1 innings pitched. His last start was in Giants’ 4-0 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, in which he allowed four runs on nine hits with four strikeouts and a three walks.
He’ll be facing off against Phillies right-hander Taijuan Walker, who will be making his second start of the season. His first was in their 8-6 win over the San Diego Padres on Sunday, in which he allowed six runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and two walks.
