The San Francisco Giants continue this three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians tonight from Oracle Park.
Taking the mound for the Giants will be right-hander Justin Verlander, who enters tonight’s game with a 4.33 ERA, 4.76 FIP, with 41 strikeouts to 21 walks in 52 innings pitched. His last start was in the Giants’ 3-2 loss to the Athletics on May 18th, in which he allowed two runs on three hits with one strikeout and five walks in four innings pitched. His last start was in the Guardians’ 11-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds last Wednesday, in which he allowed two runs on four hits with six strikeouts and a walk in six innings.
