Landen Roupp vs. Brayan Bello.
It’s time for the second game in the three-game series between the San Francisco Giants and the Boston Red Sox. And we all hope that it goes better than the first one did.
Taking the mound for the Giants is right-hander Landen Roupp, who makes his 15th start of the year. He’s 4-5 on the season with a 3.99 ERA, a 3.86 FIP, and 63 strikeouts to 29 walks in 70 innings. He’ll be looking to bounce back after a tough outing his last time out, when he allowed more runs (six) than outs recorded (five) against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
For the Red Sox it’s righty Brayan Bello, a righty who makes his 12th start of the season. Bello, a 26-year old in his fourth season, is 3-1 with a 3.49 ERA, a 4.27 FIP, and 45 strikeouts to 28 walks in 59.1 innings. Unlike Roupp, Bello is coming off a spectacular outing, in which he tossed seven shutout innings against the New York Yankees.
