Yesterday was the trade deadline, and the San Francisco Giants were active sellers. This is being written within an hour of the actual deadline, so more news has likely come out since then. But as of right now, the Giants have parted ways with Tyler Rogers, Camilo Doval and Mike Yastrzemski.
I think that this means that my prediction was incorrect. They definitely made more moves than I was expecting. And I feel really sad about that.
I had made peace with the likelihood of losing Doval, but Yastrzemski was a surprise for me. He was also my favorite current (now former) Giant. So that stings a bit. Dude makes the catch of the year then gets shipped off to Kansas City.
I really dislike the trade deadline.
