The Giants are headed back to Oracle Park this week. Which series are Giants fans most interested in this week?
Good morning, baseball fans!
The San Francisco Giants are headed back to the bay today to kick off a two-series home stand at Oracle Park. This will be the Giants’ second consecutive week without a day off, but thankfully they will only be traveling home from Southern California at least.
Up first will be the Milwaukee Brewers, who will be coming to town for a four-game series starting tonight. As of the time this is being written (late last week), the Brewers are in second place in their division, behind the Chicago Cubs.
After that, old friend and Forever Giant Bruce Bochy will be coming to town with the Texas Rangers to play their one interleague series of the year. Again, as of the time this is being written, the Rangers are sitting in first place in the American League West.
Personally, I’m picking the Rangers series. And yes, it’s mostly because of Bruce Bochy, as well as the other former Giants on the team. I still love the guy and I look forward to getting to hear from him on the broadcast and see the love from the crowd.
