The Giants are getting bullpen reinforcements.
Hello and happy Saturday.
The San Francisco Giants have just two games remaining in the regular season, before they embark on a quest for some odd year BS. And it looks as though they’ll have some reinforcements for one, if not both of those regular season games, as well as the postseason.
On Friday, it was reported that left-handed reliever Jake McGee is expected to return to the team over the weekend.
Sounds like the Giants will activate Jake McGee on Saturday or Sunday

McGee leads the team with 31 saves, is second among the relievers in fWAR (1.1), and has a 2.72 ERA and 3.34 FIP. His return not only gives the Giants an excellent left-handed option out of the pen, but will allow rookie Camilo Doval to slide back into a lower-pressure role.
