It’s another weekend of Giants baseball, which means it’s time to find out who Giants fans think was the Player of the Week!
Good morning, baseball fans!
Another week of San Francisco Giants baseball is drawing to a close, as the Giants continue their three-game series against the Athletics today and tomorrow. As the week winds down, it’s time once again to take a look back at the week that was and figure out who we think was this week’s Player of the Week.
To be honest, this week was a bit of a bummer. Not only did the Giants get swept by the Minnesota Twins, they lost two of three to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Not ideal. But the week was not without its merits. I’ve saved my absolute favorite moment of the week for tomorrow’s post. But there are still gems to be found in the mound of losses from this week.
Personally, I’ve got to give the honors for this week’s Player of the Week to Jung Hoo Lee. Over his last four games (as of the time this is being written on Friday) he has managed six RBI on five hits, two of which were home runs in both Tuesday and Wednesday’s games against the Diamondbacks.
Honorable mention goes out to Robbie Ray, who is still undefeated and got to start the only game the Giants won this week.
