The San Francisco Giants are wrapping up another week of baseball today, which means it’s time for us to pick our favorite highlights of the week!
Since I get to include all of last weekend (because I have to pre-write these), you know exactly what I’m picking.
While it’s the opposite of a problem to have to choose between two grand slams against the Los Angeles Dodgers hit by the same player, I’m going to go ahead and pick the one in which his team didn’t lose the game. So I’m picking Casey Schmitt’s grand slam from last Friday’s 6-2 win over the Dodgers for my favorite highlight of the week.
Yeah, yeah. I know I picked him for Player of the Week too, but I’m a simple woman. Thoroughly beat up on the Dodgers, and you get my vote for everything.
