The Giants didn’t make the cut in the first phases of voting for this year’s All-Star Game, but the team will still be represented at the game. Who do Giants fans think is likely to make the team?
Good morning, baseball fans!
We are a little over a week away from this year’s MLB All-Star Game. Despite our best efforts, not a single member of the San Francisco Giants even had a shot at making the team as a starter, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see some Giants on the team.
Voting for phase two wrapped up yesterday, which means that starters have likely already been announced by the time you’re reading this. But pitchers haven’t been announced yet, and that’s where I think we’ll see our first Giants make the team.
Personally, I think it’s a fairly safe bet to guess that Logan Webb and Robbie Ray will make the team when pitchers are announced. I also think Rafael Devers will be on the team as well. Unfortunately, I don’t expect more than that except maybe a relief pitcher. (I don’t want to name anyone, because I do not want to be responsible for cursing them.)
Full rosters will be announced on July 6th at 2:00 p.m. PDT, so make sure to tune in to see who will be representing the team this year.
