Demar DeRozan is “widely perceived” around the league as being available in a trade, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line and Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider.
The Kings, who have no first-round pick in the upcoming draft, have been expressing confidence to agents that they could be picking somewhere in the 20s. DeRozan could also be an option for teams who miss out on trading for Kevin Durant.
It was reported last month that the Kings could evaluate their options with DeRozan under a new front office. DeRozan has two seasons remaining on his three-year, $76 million he signed with the Kings during the 2024 offseason via a sign-and-trade deal with the Chicago Bulls.
