The Sacramento Kings are expected to sign Dennis Schroder to a two-year, $30 million contract, sources told Marc Stein of The Stein Line and Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider. Schroder, who is represented by Mark Bartelstein, averaged 13.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists with a PER of 12.5 last season.
Sources add that the Kings could look to add another veteran point guard like Russell Westbrook or Malcolm Brogdon even if they sign Schroder. Brogdon is also a potential target for the Mavs.
The Kings picked up their team options on Keon Ellis and Isaac Jones earlier on Sunday.
