Scott Perry will not tear down the Sacramento Kings’ roster this offseason, sources told Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider.
Perry replaced Monte McNair as the general manager of the team this offseason.
Perry acknowledged the need for “length and athleticism” on the roster during his introductory press conference. Perry is also expected to decide “within the next week or so” whether to retain Doug Christie as head coach.
The Kings made a significant trade ahead of the deadline by sending out De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs and receiving Zach LaVine as part of the package back.
