Golden State vs Boston Game 3 Predictions

The Golden State vs Boston Game 3 Predictions will provide NBA fans a projected overview of what to expect on Wednesday evening. Game 1 was a blowout for the Boston Celtics, where they poured in threes one after the other. As a result, the team took the win. The Warriors avenged their home loss, consequently, in a rout of the Celtics with a final score of 107-88.

Golden State vs Boston Game 3 Predictions

The Boston Celtics managed to lead in the first quarter, but The Dubs capped the frame and led by a point at the buzzer. PG Stephen Curry converted the last-second basket that gave the lead to the Warriors. Similarly, the second quarter followed suit as Golden State grew its lead by a mile. The half ended with a 23-point lead by the Warriors. Jordan Poole threw a shot near the half-court in the dying seconds of the second quarter.  From that point, Golden State never looked back, resulting in their Game 2 clobbering of Boston.

The Celtics are favored to win Game 3

The Warriors have momentum on their side. On the other hand, Boston will have the support of the home crowd that could propel the Celtics to victory. The home supporters will pep up Boston’s players, with leading scorers Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the charge.

Boston is now a 3.5 favorite to win this game. The team should take care of the ball more to limit turnovers. The defense must be fortified at home and bring in shots consistently. Boston can go toe-to-toe with the Warriors. Bad quarters happened, and Game 2 manifested the loss. In short, The Celts have what it takes to win this contest.

Boston‘s Game 3 Take Away

Firstly, the Celtics have to find a way to contain the Curry flurry. Curry carries the Warriors’ offense. If the Celtics can contain this splash brother, they will have a winning chance at Game 3.

According to Celtics coach Ime Udoka, his team was over-penetrating and playing in the crowd. Secondly, they have to keep it simple as what they did in Game 1, where they made 33 assists on 43 baskets. The plays led to more open threes in a paint packed with defenders. Stay away from the crowd.

And lastly, center Al Horford and Brown talked more about spacing. When players understand their position when spacing from guys around the ball-handler, teammates will be left with open looks. The result is better ball movement.

The Home-Court Advantage

The Boston Celtics are on a home-court advantage. Their 8-3 road slate is impressive that they can win even if they are away from home. The TD Garden in Boston is one of the loudest venues in the NBA, and it will be in favor of the Celtics.

Golden State will show its mettle in this hostile NBA Finals environment, and Boston is excited to win their first NBA finals at home.

Game 3 of the 2022 NBA Finals Starting Time: 9:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at TD Garden in Boston, MA
