The Golden State Warriors return from the All-Star Break to take on the Sacramento Kings. The game will be played at 7:00 PM PT in Sacramento and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.

Golden State wrapped up its six-game road trip before the All-Star break on a high note, securing a 105-98 win over the Houston Rockets last Thursday. Steph Curry led the charge with 27 points, while Jimmy Butler followed with 19 in just his fourth game with the team. The Warriors saw all five starters score in double figures, maintaining the lead throughout the contest to enter the break one game above .500.

What to watch for tonight:
Despite a week off, the Warriors will remain without Jonathan Kuminga, who has returned to practice but is still sidelined for tonight’s matchup in Sacramento.
Jonathan Kuminga remains out for the Warriors tomorrow night in Sacramento. Every other rotation player available for both Kings and Warriors as they exit the All-Star break with identical 28-27 records.

The biggest storyline for Golden State post-All-Star Break is Butler’s continued acclimation with the team. After being acquired during the NBA Trade Deadline, he was thrown into the fire mid-road trip, learning the system on the fly while working his way back into peak conditioning. Now, with a few games and a full week of practice under his belt, Butler should look more comfortable in the Warriors’ offensive and defensive schemes.
As Golden State enters the final 27 games of the regular season, the focus will be on fine-tuning chemistry and solidifying a playoff push. Expect Butler to take a bigger role as the team gears up for the stretch run.
