Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler didn’t shy away from being candid about what got him going late in his team’s Game 4 win over the Houston Rockets. Butler said “people” started talking, and that helped motivate him to get the Warriors to a 3-1 series lead over the Rockets.
When asked if “people” meant Rockets wing Dillon Brooks, Butler said, “Yeah” with a laugh.
Butler denied that he was having fun going back and forth with Brooks. He shook his head multiple times while the question was being asked.
“I don’t like Dillon Brooks. He’s a fierce competitor. I’m a fierce competitor. But ain’t nothing fun about that.”
