LeBron James and Stephen Curry may be rivals, but they have plenty of respect for one another. That much was made clear once again after the release of some ratings for the new version of NBA 2K.
Right now, there is a four-way tie atop the ratings for NBA 2K22. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Stephen Curry are all rated 96 in the game.
Plenty have sounded off about how this is too low for one or more of the players, or weighed in on who the true top-rated player should be. For LeBron, things are pretty clear.
In response to a a SLAM Gaming tweet about Steph’s rating, LeBron says that he believes the Golden State Warriors point guard should be maxed out. “Nah should be 99!” he said.
Nah should be 99! 🤷🏾♂️

A few minutes later, he gave KD the same treatment. With how Durant looked in the Olympic gold medal game and with the Brooklyn Nets on his back in the playoffs, it’s hard to argue against it.
Nah! Should be 99! 🤷🏾♂️

It’s unclear if he thinks he’s still up to that “99” standard, though James has never lacked self-confidence. He also didn’t weigh in on Giannis’ rating, coming off of the Milwaukee Bucks championship. There’s always the chance that he hasn’t seen the full list.
In any event, James and plenty of Warriors and Nets fans across the country are in lockstep after today’s NBA 2K22 news.
