Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry returned from his injury shortened 2019-20 season with a career-year in the 2020-21 season. And the Warriors are ready to reward him for it.
According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Warriors are expected to sign Curry to a four-year, $215 million contract extension this summer. The move ensures that Curry will be a Warrior well into his mid-30s.
This past year, Curry averaged a career-high 32 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. The Warriors went 39-33 in the regular season but lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in the Play-In game.
NBA fans appear to be mixed as to what kind of an impact this move will have. Some feel that it’s too much money for someone who will be 37 at the end of the deal. Others feel that Curry deserves the money after years of being underpaid by the team:
53 MILLION A YEAR😂. That’s confirms it the Warriors are never win another ring. They have no cap to sign anybody

The Golden State Warriors have been a pretty far cry from the dominance they had when they won five straight Western Conference titles.
But this coming season the Warriors should have one of their biggest difference makers back: Klay Thompson. The all-world shooting guard is set to return this season after missing the last two seasons due to injury.
If Thompson can regain even a fraction of the dominance he had in the previous five years, he and Curry can get the Warriors back in title contention quickly.
Will Steph Curry win another title with the Golden state Warriors?
