The Louvre Museum in Paris might be missing a piece because the image of Steph Curry’s Olympic gold medal celebration certainly belongs there now.
After draining an incredible three-point shot with just 30 seconds remaining in the U.S. men’s basketball team’s gold medal game against France today, Curry did the classic “napping” pose – signifying that it was time for France to call it a night.
The image has been shared from multiple angles, nearly all of them being amazing, and fans were amped to see the United States go on to win 98-87.
“The living legend Steph Curry,” Bill Simmons wrote with his screenshot of NBC’s broadcast.

“Just put France to sleep in their own capital,” one user replied to Simmons.
“Might be top 5 all time after tonight and I’m deadly serious. That last two minutes was Mt. Rushmore type stuff,” wrote another.
“Just unreal. When he is on, there is really nothing like it,” a third wrote.
Basketball at the Olympics may not have the same number of iconic moments that the NBA does – at least, not for American audiences – but this was clearly one of them.
Where does this moment rank among the all-time greats in basketball history?
