The Warriors will exercise their team options on Gui Santos and Quinten Post for next season, per source. Santos is on the books for $2.2 million (non-guaranteed) and Post at $1.9 million. Pair of late second round picks who have made a rotation impact.

Santos’ averages of 4.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists belie his hustle and blue-collar activity, which earned him minutes in the eyes of Steve Kerr and the coaching staff. A late second-round pick (55th) in the 2022 NBA Draft and once a G League mainstay with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Santos has entrenched himself within the main roster, and has earned another opportunity to stick around (although his $2.2 million option that has been picked up is non-guaranteed).
Post, the 52nd pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, was a bit of a revelation last season as a legitimate seven-foot stretch five. He shot 40.8% on 9.6 three-point attempts per 75 possessions during 42 regular season games, providing value beyond what was expected of him considering his draft standing. However, Post still has plenty of room to improve, especially in terms of building up his strength, establishing a post presence to diversify his offensive profile, and becoming a force on the boards.
