Keep track of the latest happenings for the Warriors in free agency.

The 2021 NBA free agency period is underway, and if you want to keep track of everything happening with the Golden State Warriors, we’ve got you covered. We’ll update this tracker with every Warriors rumor, report, and signing.

At the bottom of the post is a tracker with some of the marquee free agency moves that have been made across the NBA.

Otto Porter Jr.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported that the Warriors signed 6’8 wing Otto Porter Jr. to a one-year veteran’s minimum contract. Porter reportedly turned down a larger offer from another team to join Golden State.

Nemanja Bjelica

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Warriors signed 6’10 forward Nemanja Bjelica to a one-year, veteran’s minimum contract. Bjelica just finished up a three-year, $20.5 million contract, and looked good doing so, so the vet min feels like a quality get.

Andre Iguodala

The AP’s Tim Reynolds reported that forward Andre Iguodala is expected to meet with the Warriors. Iguodala played for the Warriors from the 2013-14 season through the 2018-19 season, before the team traded him to clear the cap space necessary to add D’Angelo Russell. Iguodala’s $15 million option for the upcoming season was declined by the Miami Heat.

Kent Bazemore

Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that Kent Bazemore, who just finished his second stint with Golden State, turned down a two-year deal from the Warriors to take a smaller contract with the Lakers.

NBA free agency

  • While not technically a trade, the Los Angeles Lakers partook in one of the biggest moves we’ll see this offseason, sending out nearly all of their role players to receive former MVP Russell Westbrook in a five-player trade.
  • Also included in the five-player deal is Spencer Dinwiddie, who agreed to a three-year sign-and-trade deal with the Washington Wizards.
  • Chris Paul agreed to a deal to stay with the Phoenix Suns.
  • Veteran wing Danny Green re-signed with the Philadelphia 76ers for two years.
  • The Chicago Bulls shored up their backcourt next to Zach LaVine by adding both Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan, the latter on a sign-and-trade deal. The Bulls also signed Alex Caruso.
  • Veteran All-Star and champion Kyle Lowry is leaving the rebuilding Toronto Raptors, and agreed to a sign-and-trade with the Miami Heat.
  • The Lakers and 76ers swapped centers, with Dwight Howard signing a deal to return to LA, and Andre Drummond agreeing to terms with the Sixers.
  • Former Warrior JaVale McGee agreed to a deal with the defending Western Conference champion Suns.
  • All-Star point guard Kemba Walker signed with the New York Knicks after securing a buyout from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
  • Victor Oladipo re-signed with the Heat for one year as he tries to rebuild his value.
  • John Collins signed a five-year deal to remain with the Atlanta Hawks.
  • Patty Mills, believed to be a player the Warriors were pursuing, opted to sign with the Brooklyn Nets.
  • Blake Griffin re-signed with the Nets for a year after joining the team last season after being bought out.
  • Nicolas Batum returned to the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-year deal.
  • The Lakers added Carmelo Anthony, Kendrick Nunn, Trevor Ariza, and Malik Monk around their superstar trio.
