The full injury report for Tuesday’s game.
The Western Conference Semifinals are here. After muscling their way past the Houston Rockets in an intense and physical seven-game series that came down to the wire, the Golden State Warriors have moved on to face the six-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves. And the Warriors are ready to kick off the next round.
Both teams enter the second round in fairly good health, so it should be a fair fight. Here’s the full injury report for tonight’s game, which tips off in Minneapolis at 6:30 p.m. PT on TNT.
Warriors
Questionable — Gary Payton II (left elbow joint inflammation)
Payton missed Sunday’s Game 7 win over the Rockets due to an illness, with Steve Kerr describing a painfully sick sounding guard. Thankfully that seems to have cleared up, but GPII is still questionable, this time for an elbow ailment. His defense could really help against Anthony Edwards, so let’s hope that he’s good to go.
Available — Steph Curry (right thumb splint)
Curry has been on the injury report all playoffs long, though he’s always been available. His thumb injury isn’t going to sideline him, but it’s fair to wonder if it’s impacting him. He’s been seen fiddling with it on a few occasions, and in Sunday’s win was caught re-taping it a few times.
Timberwolves
Out — Rob Dillingham (right ankle sprain)
Last year’s No. 8 pick has been in and out of Minnesota’s rotation in his rookie season. Lately it’s just been out, though, so his absence shouldn’t really be felt by the Wolves. He’s the only player on their injury report for Minny.
Enjoy the game, Dub Nation!
