Four-star guard Elias Obenyah has committed to Stanford, 247Sports’ Brandon Jenkins announced on X. Obenyah is a 6-foot-4, 195-pound guard from Richmond, California and a senior at Salesian HS (CA).
He has a large and physical frame for being a true guard and has some of the best length in his class, given his body frame. Obenyah uses his physicality to often get to the rim and finish, but many scouts think he should improve his perimeter shooting. He is also viewed as an above-average defender with good lateral quickness and defensive instincts.
Obenyah is Stanford’s third commit in the class of 2026, joining Isaiah Rogers and Aziz Olajuwon. He is ranked as a four-star recruit and a top-135 recruit in the nation.
