Syracuse transfer Chris Bell is on the move to the West Coast, but he’ll remain in the ACC.
The 6-foot-7 junior from Concord, CA averaged 9.3 points and 2.0 rebounds as a junior at Syracuse. He scored 23 points in a loss to Pitt on Feb. 18, making seven 3-pointers. Bell drained 170 3-pointers in three years with the Orange.
Cal saw eight outgoing transfers after this past season and has now added Bell, Delaware transfer forward John Camden, Grand Canyon transfer guard Sammie Yeanay, Michigan transfer guard Justin Pippen, Virginia transfer point guard Darrin “Dai Dai” Ames, and Loyola-Maryland transfer forward Milos Ilic.
Cal finished 14-19, 6-14 in the ACC last season.
