The San Francisco 49ers had a big eleven-pick draft class, but did not sign many UDFAs after the draft. Still, even with a smaller UDFA class, the 49ers have some undrafted free agents with a good chance to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. Here are three UDFAs who could make the 49ers 53-man roster and become valuable players on the team.
San Francisco 49ers UDFAs Who Could Make An Impact On The Team In 2025
RB Corey Kiner, Cincinnati
Kiner was an exciting player to watch at the college level. Kiner is an undersized running back, and he isn’t a high-level athlete with great explosiveness or breakaway speed. However, he is a quick running back with good footwork and is a dangerous runner in open space. He can make quick and sharp cuts and consistently make defenders miss. He also runs hard and possesses strong contact balance to fight through contact and pick up extra yards.
Kiner was an efficient and productive runner in college who averaged 5.5 yards per carry over the last two seasons and had back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 rushing yards in 2023 and 2024. The 49ers have had success with undrafted running backs in recent years with players like Jordan Mason and Matt Breida. Kiner will have tough competition to compete with, including fifth-round draft pick Jordan James, but he has the talent to potentially be the next great 49ers UDFA running back to make the 53-man roster.
WR Isaiah Neyor, Nebraska
Neyor is an elite athlete with an incredible combination of size and speed. At 6-foot-4 and 218 pounds, with a 97th percentile arm length for the position, Neyor also runs a 4.40 40-yard dash time, along with a 38-inch vertical leap. His 9.90 relative athletic score was the fourth-best of any receiver in this year’s draft class. He uses his size to his advantage in contested catch situations and is able to win jump balls at a good rate. He is also an impressive vertical route runner, and combined with his size and speed, it makes him a big threat as an explosive play creator deep down the field.
Neyor has underwhelming play strength for his size, still needs to develop more as a route runner overall, and he never had great production during his college career. There are some concerns, but his rare blend of height, weight, speed, and a massive catch radius, along with his ability to make plays vertically down the field, makes him an intriguing high upside prospect who could develop into a serious playmaker for the 49ers.
IOL Drew Moss, Colorado State

Moss had an extremely consistent and productive college career. He started his college career at Lamar, where he started 22 games as a right tackle before transferring to Colorado State in 2023. He became an immediate key contributor for the Rams, starting every game at guard and earning All-Mountain West Honorable Mention honors. Moss had his best season yet in 2024, once again starting every game, and finishing the season with the second-highest PFF grade of any guard at the entire FBS level with a 90.5 offense grade. He also had the second-highest run-blocking grade in the entire country.
He pairs good production in college with an impressive showing at his pro day as well, where he posted a 9.26 relative athletic score. Moss is an undersized offensive lineman with short arms and little experience against power conference-level competition in college. Still, his combination of great production in college, impressive athletic testing numbers, and being an ideal scheme fit for the 49ers zone-blocking scheme makes him a name to watch as someone who could earn a role as a promising developmental backup offensive lineman.
