The team signed DL Davin Bellamy to a one-year deal with Anthony Zettel retiring
On Friday, the 49ers received some good news as they activated WR Jauan Jennings and CB Emmanuel Moseley from the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Both players have yet to practice in training camp.
Moseley should work with the starters right away, as it’s been a bit of a struggle opposite of Jason Verrett. He should provide some much-needed stability. I can’t wait to watch him go up against Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk.
I’ll be curious to see where Jennings fits in. The Niners skill players work with every quarterback, so he’ll have an opportunity to catch passes from Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance.
With Antony Zettel retiring, the 49ers signed DL David Bellamy to a one-year deal. A 26-year-old native of Chamblee, GA, Bellamy attended the University of Georgia where he appeared in 48 games (27 starts) and registered 135 tackles, 13.0 sacks, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
Let’s hope Jennings and Moseley can practice Friday and then eventually scrimmage on Saturday.
