49ers fans are predicting a big bounce back year for Brock Purdy

Here come the 49ers and Brock Purdy in 2025

The results are in! The San Francisco 49ers and 49ers fans are very confident in a bounce-back season for their newly extended signal caller. The most famous final draft pick in NFL history just signed a lucrative extension and is ready to roll into training camp, following a disappointing 6-11 season in 2024.

Brock Purdy has the third-most passing yards over the past two seasons, with only Jared Goff and Baker Mayfield ahead of him. That puts him ahead of Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Matthew Stafford.

According to our FanDuel Sportsbook-sponsored poll, 49ers fans believe Purdy will eclipse 3,850 passing yards in 2025. Eighty-seven percent of fans are willing to bet money on it. Given the 49ers’ weapons and play caller, this should be a no-doubt slam dunk. The only thing that can stop Purdy from achieving this mark would be injury.

Given the 49ers’ offensive performance in 2024, any positive momentum in 2025 would easily put Purdy firmly in the conversation for the league-leading passer.

As for Purdy’s performance throwing touchdowns in 2024, 49ers fans are all-in on Purdy’s implied touchdown total of 24.5 and taking the over. Ninety-one percent of fans are willing to put cold, hard cash on his performance in 2025.

With the emergence of Jauan Jennings and the continued development of first-round pick Ricky Pearsall, Purdy will have plenty of opportunities to cash in on 49ers fans’ confidence. Oh, and George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey also.

The 49ers’ offense was able to move the football within the 20-yard lines, but struggled in the red zone. Any slight improvement only stands to help Purdy and his chances at achieving these numbers.

With the turnover on the defensive side of the ball and Robert Saleh’s return as defensive coordinator, the defense should put Purdy and the offense at an advantage offensively.

How excited are you for the 49ers in 2025? Will the offense do the heavy lifting? Let us know in the comments!
