San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey isn’t going to let any criticism of his wife Olivia Culpo slide.
Earlier this week, Instagram influencer Kennedy Bingham mocked Culpo’s wedding dress.
Not only did Bingham criticize Culpo’s style, she questioned why she felt the need to rave about how “elegant” her wedding dress
“I’ve been a bridal creator for four years now, and I have never said this before, but I do not like this wedding dress,” she said. “… I also think it’s weird how much she’s talking about coverage, especially as someone who in her day-to-day life is not a modest dresser … I just think the usage of the word ‘covered’ is so icky, because you are not covered in day-to-day life. And, also, why is he thinking you’re the most beautiful when you’re covered? That’s such an odd thing.”
McCaffrey caught wind of this post from Bingham and let her know that he didn’t appreciate her remarks.
“What an evil thing to post online,” McCaffrey wrote. “I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does.”
Culpo also fired back at Bingham for trying to make her feel awful about her special day.
“Wow what an absolutely evil person you are,” Culpo said, via Page Six. “I hope no one ever tears you apart in this way because it’s extremely hurtful. I love this dress and it was everything I wanted and more.”
At the end of the day, all that matters is that Culpo and McCaffrey enjoyed their special day.
McCaffrey and Culpo are certainly within their right to call out Bingham for her remarks, but they shouldn’t let it get to them.
