George Kittle and Travis Kelce are close friends, but the San Francisco 49ers star hasn’t asked his fellow tight end for Taylor Swift tickets.
However, Kittle revealed on “The Rich Eisen Show” Wednesday that a member of the tight end fraternity has hit up Kelce for free seats to one of his girlfriend’s shows.
Kittle, a five-time Pro Bowler, first told Eisen a hilarious story about staying near Swift’s house in Rhode Island when he attended Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo’s wedding last week. He joked that he texted Kelce asking if he could use Swift’s bathroom.
When Eisen asked him if anyone had hit Kelce up for tickets, Kittle said no but thought he knew someone who might have.
“I bet you Greg Olsen asked. He had to have. He probably did,” Kittle said before being interrupted by a person in the audience.
“Did he? Oh he did. Yeah, he asked for tickets,” Kittle said to the person off-camera. “Good job Greg. Pete outed you on ‘The Rich Eisen Show.’ We have the same marketing guy.”
There you have it. George Kittle confirmed through Pete the Marketing Guy that Greg Olsen asked Travis Kelce for Taylor Swift tickets.
Olsen, a three-time Pro Bowler during his playing career from 2007-20, is now FOX’s No. 2 game analyst. He and his wife have three children, two sons and a daughter, so he was probably looking for tickets for the entire family, a la Roger Federer.
Hopefully Travis came through for him.
