“Yeah, there’s probably like 40 players who golf. Nick Bosa started playing in January and he already broke 90. He is very controlled … he did it the right way, where he got lessons first. Whereas everyone else, like, you play for a number of years and then it’s like, “Maybe I should get lessons,” but then you already have all these bad habits. He’s very technical.”
Matt Ryan details what it was like playing for Kyle Shanahan while with Falcons
“[He] pushed me a little bit out of my comfort zone in certain spots because he believed in me in certain ways and I think that helped me grow as a player,” Ryan told Maiocco. “But, I think you want your head coach demanding and you want, you know, your coaches, position coaches, coordinators demanding the best of those guys and their track record speaks for itself. They’ve had a lot of success.”
George Kittle sees parallels between 2025 49ers rookie class and his own
“On the defensive side of the ball, Kittle is also keeping an eye on second-round pick Mykel Williams, the powerful edge rusher from Georgia. Kittle noted that the rookie told teammates that he finds it disrespectful when tight ends are asked to block him—an area in which Kittle enjoys and thrives.
“I was like, ‘Welcome to the NFL, baby. You’re going to see something different in these practices, I promise you that,’” Kittle said with a grin.”

“There are 10,000 kids who would love to be the starting tight end for the San Francisco 49ers,” Kittle said. “And it is my job to not let any of their dreams come true … That is one thing that keeps me going and one thing that just makes me want to play for as long as I possibly can.”
