Every year, Forbes lists the most valuable teams in the NFL. On Thursday, the updated list heading into the 2021 season was unveiled.
The Dallas Cowboys are once again the most valuable NFL team, which shouldn’t really surprise anyone at this point. Forbes has the Cowboys listed at $6.5 billion in total value. That’s actually a 14 percent increase from last year.
The New England Patriots claim the No. 2 spot on Forbes’ list, but there’s a massive gap between them and the Cowboys – $1.5 billion to be exact.
Believe it or not, the New York Giants round out the top three for Forbes’ most valuable NFL franchises. They’re currently valued at $4.85 billion.
All four teams from the NFC East managed to crack the top 10 for Forbes, as the Washington Football Team is ranked fifth and the Philadelphia Eagles are currently in the No. 9 spot on the list.
The rest of this year’s top 10 includes the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, New York Jets and Denver Broncos.

Even though these 10 teams technically stand above the rest of the league when it comes to value, the other 22 teams aren’t very far behind. Forbes has the average team value listed at $3.48 billion.
Next year’s list could look a tad different depending on how the 2021 season plays out for certain teams. However, the odds of the Cowboys being dethroned as the move valuable team are very slim.
