Life has kept me busy so I need y’all to fill me in on what I need to know!
Hey all! It’s been a minute since you’ve seen my byline here at Niners Nation, outside of the daily trivia game. Hope you’re enjoying it!
The 2025 NFL Draft gets going later tonight and I realized, I don’t really know what the heck is going on with the 49ers and most of the rest of the NFL since the season ended. I check NN to see what’s what, but the past three months have kept me busy enough that I couldn’t tell you much about the 49ers offseason. I know Brock Purdy doesn’t have an extension yet, I know Deebo got traded, and I know there’s been a lot of roster turnover.
But let’s get into the details. What do I need to know about the current state of the 49ers and what I can expect tonight?
I’m sure I’m not the only person who has tuned out the NFL to some degree since the season ended. Whether the NBA, college basketball, or just life has kept you too busy, draft weekend is here and we need to know what’s up.
I have occasionally checked out mock drafts, but no more than a handful over the past couple months and they’ve all blended together. I heard they are among the teams looking to trade back, right?
