The 2025 Las Vegas Raiders’ draft class is in the books, but that doesn’t mean the conversation has to end.

We dedicated this week’s Tuesday Community Question to the topic, asking for our community members’ general thoughts on the first class drafted by new Las Vegas general manager John Spytek.

To recap, here is the Las Vegas Raiders’ 11-player 2025 draft class:

Reports from the Bay Area that Niners were interested in the two tackles we took just ahead of them. They had Caleb in for a visit and were apparently interested in Grant as well.

I’m liking those picks more and more.

I love the pick and it allowed us to trade back in the second round and pick up more talent. There’s been enough scrutiny on Jeanty that if there was a real issue, it would have manifested itself by now. I do question why his touches would be an issue if people consider his conference to be weaker than the others? Indeed, I would expect him to dominate and handle a bigger load if he’s the real deal.

I’m not as sold on Jeanty as others. Still got questions about his final year of production being a product of the team trying to get him the heisman. But the sheer amount of touches he’s already accumulated is a bit worrisome and his “speed” isn’t gonna separate himself at the pro level like it did in the MWC. But I did love the moving around while still picking up quality players and double dipping at several positions.

Jeanty isn’t any more of a risk than Cam Ward or Mason Graham.

Unless you’re arguing he didn’t run it, 4.42 is fast in any conference or at any level for a back his size.

Again, that’s why I keep it at the “does he fit as the pick” rather than what could go wrong. When we took Josh, he was never the lead back at Alabama so an argument could have been made that he would be injury prone. He’s held up well. Khalil Shakir and DeMarcus Lawrence have had no problems with the step up in talent and they were not as dominant as Jeanty at Boise.
