Fans don’t expect Raiders to trade for Jalen Ramsey

Las Vegas has been connected to standout cornerback

Jalen Ramsey has been connected to he Las Vegas Raiders in a potential trade for months, yet nothing has happened yet.

And many Raiders fans don’t expect that to change. Recently, we asked our community members if they think Las Vegas and the Miami Dolphins will come together on a trade for a standout cornerback.

In a poll with more than 400 votes cast, 79 percent don’t see the two teams will come make a deal, while just 21 percent think it will, indeed, happen.

I get why this vote was so lopsided. Ramsey trade rumors have been ongoing for months without any end in sight.

Nothing has improved in the relationship between Ramsey and the Dolphins and a trade is still the anticipated outcome. ESPN recently reported that Ramsey would like to play on the West Coast, such as for teams like the Los Angeles Rams (where he’s already played and been traded from) or with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Yes, there are reasons to think the Raiders could be a logical fit for Ramsey. They are close to the West Coast, Ramsey fits what new Raiders coach Pete Carroll wants in his cornerbacks (he stands at 6-1 and weighs 209 and has 33,3/8 inch arms, so he has the size Carroll covets), the Raiders could use a veteran cornerback and the Raiders have the financial means to fit in Ramsey.

But, will it happen? Raiders fans are understandably skeptical.

Here are some of your responses. Sign up and go to the comments section.

I’ll repeat my answer on Alexander MARK DONT PAY CORNERS. Ever ever ever ever lmao name 1, Asomagua was gone the year he took over, Ive never seen him go over 5-6 mil on a FA DB

Indy!
There’s no reason to trade for him. He’s way too expensive (the Dolphins WAY overpaid for him) and no team thinks he’s worth that kind of cash. So the odds are the Dolphins cut their losses and Ramsey. If we could pick him up on the vet minimum and challenge him to prove he’s not done yet? Fine. Otherwise? Pass. His skills have declined – I’ve seen him play and he’s not even the best DB on the Dolphins anymore.
EDIT: As always… jmho.
