Fans would rather have the star tight end than the quarterback from 2024 draft
For Las Vegas Raiders fans, the 2024 NFL draft went down perfectly fine.
They don’t feel like they missed out on anything.
Recently, former Raiders general manager Tom Telesco explained on a podcast that the team might have drafted Oregon quarterback Bo Nix if he were available with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
So, we asked our community members if they would rather have Nix or Brock Bowers, who the Raiders took with the pick.
This was not a feeling of a fan base acting like they missed out on something. In our poll, 79 percent of the voters would rather have Bowers than Nix.
We get it. Bowers had a monster rookie season.
The Georgia product set all kinds of tight end records, shattering the the rookie records as he had 112 catches for 1,194 yards and had five touchdown catches. He was voted a first-team All-Pro and was second in the Offensive Rookie of the Year voting.
He has potential to be an all-time great at the tight end position.
So, while Nix has potential to be a true franchise quarterback and the Raiders don’t have their own future figured out at the position, we get the sentiment.
Stick with Brock.
